Jared Sleeper: C, (2021) Jones, OK. 6-foot, 175-pound proportional frame. During batting practice, Sleeper had a max exit velocity of 84 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a toe tap. Had short swing plane, above average bat speed and high finish. Barreled up multiple balls with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. While catching, he had a pop time of 2.06-2.21, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 69 mph; had a clean exchange, quick footwork and sure hands. Calm setup with some flexibility. Had a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.46.

Displayed an athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame with physicality and projectability. The left-handed hitter starts from a tall, even stance with high hands utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Demonstrated a smooth, fluid stroke allowing for sink into a long lower half creating a slightly uphill barrel path with a pull gap approach and mostly barrels. Showcased barrel whip while hitting into a stiff front side and registered an 86 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.20 60-yard dash. The primary backstop flashed solid receiving skills with minimal body sway at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.03-2.20 on 72 mph throws out of a short, high ¾ arm-slot.  Generated soft walls while blocking with athleticism behind the dish.

A 6-foot, 175-pound framed catcher hits from the left side of the plate with a slightly wide and open stance to start, uses small reverse toe-tap to load and push weight to backside. Physical frame, hands work quiet off the back shoulder, rhythm and balance throughout the swing. Level line drive bat path, strong lower half and hands through contact. Showed some athleticism in swing, ball jumped off the bat to the pull side 86 mph bat-exit velocities. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Sits low in primary stance, side saddle with left leg bent under stance, glove works across the plate to catch side to side. Athletic to throw, active lower half keeping weight under him to throw to second base, small front side spin to throw. Delivered throws around the bag at 2.03-2.13, ball travelling at 73 mph from the crouch. Ball carries through the bag, good direction, produced clean and quick transfers.

A 6-foot, 175-pound lean frame with room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a wide, open, and upright set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a big load with a double toe tap and late heel plant before launching his on a slightly uphill path with some bat speed. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach with some pop, nearly all barrels, 84 exit velo. Runs a 7.26 60. Defensively, shows a slightly narrow set-up with flexibility in his hips and knees slightly turned in. Receives with mostly quiet hands and some sway in his body. Shows very quick footwork to second base and exchanges, and clean blocking.Throws down with a short and over the top arm action, 73 mph down to second base and some accuracy for showcase pop times of 2.12-2.19.

A proportional 6-foot, 175-pound frame with some room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a wide, open, and upright set-up with some rhythm throughout. Uses a short reverse toe-tap stride and hand load before launching them on a flat path to contact with a high finish and some bat speed. In BP, shows a pull approach with consistent lift, some pop, and mostly barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.26 60. Defensively, receives from a sturdy, flexible and quiet set-up with above average hands. Throws with deliberate, consistent, and clean footwork and exchanges, uses a short arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with developing accuracy at 73 mph for showcase pop times of 2.12-2.19.
