Defensively, receives from a narrow base with his glove side knee turned in and above average hands. On throw downs, shows early footwork coming through the ball. Throws with a very short and quick arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with developing accuracy at 70 mph to second base with showcase pop times of 2.09-2.27. In the game, went 2-for-3 with two singles, squaring the ball up in each AB.
