A 5-foot-7, 170-pound thick build. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle of the field, flat approach. Uses a wide, slightly open, balanced set-up, knee-knock leg kick, flat plane through contact, high abbreviated finish. Produced an 81 mph exit velo. Defensively, good receiver and consistent blocker,  throws from a 3/4 slot, footwork takes him around the plate. Position velo of 73 mph with 1.99-2.14 showcase pop times, 2.28 in game pop.  Runs a 7.69 60. One of the best attitudes at the event. Emerson was 0/3 with two walks and three strikeouts


5/31/17
A 5-foot-7, 170-pound durable frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide open, balanced set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick for timing, some length in the swing, uphill path, abbreviated finish. In BP, shows an all fields approach with lift and more pop than his 81 mph exit velo would suggest, especially pull side, found some barrels. Runs a 7.69 60. Defensively, an above average blocker keeping the ball close, shows aggressive actions receiving and on throws down. Uses a clean transfer, a high-3/4 slot, 73 mph, 1.99-2.14 showcase pop times, with accuracy. In the game, went 1-for-2 with a single.

7/17/18
A durable 5-foot-9, 185 pound frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an open, wide, and back leg heavy set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a small load and moderate leg kick before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path with a high finish and bat speed. In BP, shows an all fields and flat approach, finding almost all barrels,  90 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.46 second 60. Defensively, receives from an athletic and flexible base with strong hands. Throws down with quick feet and clean exchanges before using a short arm stroke through a high-¾ slot with quickness. Throws show some accuracy at 74 mph and showcase pop times of 1.98-2.07.
