Started in an athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride just before his swing. Bat speed was above average, showed simple swing plane and low finish. He created some loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent footwork. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action.
