Physical: 5-7, 160 pounds; Athletic, Slight build. 6.81 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman. Showed A/AVG blast metrics. Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
3/04/23
Physical: Lean, developing 5-foot-7, 160-pound build. 7.18 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: LHH. Open, slightly crouched stance, as the bat operated out over the plate some. Utilized a simple leg-kick stride to initiate his swing through a whippy, flat path from the backside. Dominant top-hand that flashed pull-side approach at times, up to an estimated 310FT at T86MPH. More to come.
Defensively: The primary outfielder showed easy reads/tracking skills and rounded the ball with a soft glove-hand. Put the body in an athletic position, though he did not throw on this date. Was up to 80MPH previously (H ¾).
