2024 Holiday Hitters Showcase (Durham Region)
Zwarich was maybe the biggest winner on the day in terms of development as he put together three straight impressive rounds of BP with consistent back-spin to the back part of the cage. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound shortstop has added noticeable strength and it showed, generated a peak exit velocity of 99.2mph (3rd-best), along with an average of 89.7mph (3rd-best). The Ontario Blue Jays prospect was synced up throughout every round and showed feel for the barrel. Zwarich’s stock is on the rise to close out the year and still has plenty of time to continue progressing throughout the winter so it will be fun to see where he’s at come spring time.
