Swing: 71.5mph max bat speed, averaged 68.4mph. 22.5mph max hand speed, averaged 22.0mph.
Arm: RH. OF - 82mph.
ATH: 3.97 runner in the 30-yard, 1.76 10-yard split. 21.3 max vertical jump.

Stewart was one of the more impressive 2027s in attendance, flashing an advanced left-handed swing for the class. At 5-foot-10, 150-pounds, he’s still growing into his frame, but the tools are evident with a peak exit velocity of 95.9mph and average of 88.8, both some of the top marks among ‘27 prospects on the day. The peak distance of 338ft lands him near the top of the leaderboard, as well. The swing works with quick hands, some whip to the barrel, and strong path through the zone. Athletic look overall at the plate. Stewart should be a player to have an eye for as he continues to mature heading into his sophomore season.
2023 Ontario New Year Open
2027 OF/RHP Hayden Stewart, 5-foot-7, 114-pounds - Potentially the youngest player at the event and he held his own. Showed quick feet in the outfield portion of the showcase with a clean arm that worked up to 67mph. Immediately had the look of an arm that would show well on the mound. Projectable from the left-side with his skinny frame and consistent line drive contact. Top exit velocity of 77mph. Everything is clean on the mound as a right-handed pitcher and there's ton to work with as he adds strength and develops. Flashed potential on the mound and in the box.
