2026 RHP Mattias Lipka in an arm who continues to shine in Ontario’s 2026 class and did so again on Saturday at the Pitcher-Only Future Games Trials. Large, imposing frame at 6-foot-4, 190-pounds uses it well to get down the mound with a fastball that continues to sit in the mid-80s, 85-6mph on Saturday (2300+). The secondary stuff included a curveball at 68-71mph and changeup at 76-77mph. A highly intriguing arm in Ontario’s 2026 class and will be an arm to keep tabs on throughout the summer for the Team Ontario Astros.

Lipka has earned himself a seat near the top of the rankings in the ‘26 class. Lipka packs a wiry 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame that has dialled the heater up to 87.6 mph. The slider/curveball are both effective out pitches that compliment the fastball well. He is just scratching the surface on the mound and with further development we should see the metrics continue to spike up. He is a name to check in on for college coaches as we head into the ‘25 campaign.

Lipka was one of the top arms to take the mound at our Canadian College & University Showcase. The long limbed 6-foot-4, 180-pounder dialed the heater up to 86.8 mph with run and depth to it. Equipped with a breaking ball that showed 11/5 shape with sufficient bite. The wiry framed RHP will continue to add velocity as the body matures and is a name to follow during the summer circuit.
