Ellis saved his best outing for the last day of Spring Training down south. Impressive control on the hill, punching out nine batters in just over four innings of work. Keeps batters off balance and uncomfortable in the box, averaging 12.5 pitches an inning and allowing just one hit. Fastball isn’t overpowering but makes up for it with the ability to consistently throw strikes. Curveball has some movement with upside to becoming a go-to swing and miss pitch.
