Ozzie continued his strong start to the year after being named PBR Spring Training MVP with another good showing at the plate during live AB’s. He went 2-for-3 with a hard single down the RF line, before he elevated to the RCF gap. The swing has really developed since the fall with quiet-to-violent movements in his load and a better understanding of his approach. Look for Ozzie to make some noise this summer at the dish.

2024 SS Ozzie Fitzpatrick was a hit machine throughout Spring Training. Impressed with his bat-to-ball skills from the left-side and showed the ability to hit the gap with relative ease, picking up several extra-base hits throughout the week. Earned MVP honours primarily due to the bat but he held his own on the left-side of the diamond. A good looking uncommitted 2024 bat right here who's continued to trend upwards over the past 12+ months.

Fitzpatrick, the 5-foot-8, 155-pound lefty bat impressed on Sunday with multiple loud rounds of BP. He worked mostly to the pull side with an exit velo of 88mph and showed some violence in his swing. He has quick hands and gets the bat through the zone well - the ball was jumping off his bat all day. Fitzpatrick has a lot of moving parts, but has a feel for hitting. There’s room to add strength, so he'll be an interesting LHH to follow as he continues to develop.
