Lebel is an interesting 2018 grad with frame listed at 6-foot, 185-pounds and room to add size and muscle. First time he worked out as two-way player. Ran a lasered time 60 at 7.44 with regular effort. Defensively, showed good feel for glove with arm strength and accuracy across the diamond at 83 mph, profiles as third baseman at the next level. At the plate, right-handed bat with some pop, simple setup, quiet and doesn't try to do too much, creates good angle to the ball and creates good lift in swing, bat speed there with exit velocity of 90 mph. Makes use of back leg and clears hips allowing him to get extension. On the mound, first time we've seen him. Some life in arm from 3/4 slot, ball has run out of hand, fastball was 80 mph with room for a spike in velocity. Threw couple changeups that had running action on them, curveball sat in low 70's that was up in zone but had tight rotation. More reps and innings could see Lebel develop into a legitimate two-way player for the right school at the next level.
