Whittle is a guy who has continued to get better over the years and put up his best numbers at the New Year Open. At the plate, it's a compact swing, he looks to drive the ball and was up to 90 off the tee. In the infield, he worked up to 75 on throws, and his hands worked cleanly, going to both sides. On the mound, he was 74-76, mixing in a variety of secondary offerings. Whittle is a 2021 grad to follow.

Whittle is a young 2021 prospect with room and time to add to his tool set as a 5-foot-9, 195-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman. Best exit velocity from the right side was 79 mph as he hits from a wide stance with hands back and more arms into swing than involving his lower half and using his whole body. On the mound, fastball is 67 mph and the ability to lengthen his stride and increase his arm speed over time will play key role in Whittle’s development.
