2027 LHP Zack Hobson was one of the younger arms that stood out last Monday in Oakville. A long-limbed lefty with a slender frame, who showed great fundamentals and presence on the hill. In his pitch mix, he offers a FB that has ASR paired with a late breaking CB and CH that has plenty of fade, showing characteristics of a swing and miss pitch to put hitters away. The velocity will likely develop more as he matures into his projectable frame, being up to 77 with the FB at previous scout days.
