8/19/18 - 6-foot-2, 240-pound primary pitcher sat 81-83 from a low 3/4 arm slot allowing two hits over three innings of game play while striking out three. Curran also showcased a slider at 67-70. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-5 with a walk and was hit by a pitch during game action. The one hit was a triple to the right-center field gap that drove in two runs.
6/20/18 - 6-foot-2, 240-pound two-way prospect put together arguably the most complete two day performance of any prospect in attendance. He sat 82-84 on the mound out of a low 3/4 arm slot working solely out of the stretch with the ability to reach back for 85-86 when he wanted it. He also showcased the ability to change tempo in his delivery and occasionally switched to a high 3/4 arm slot for a different look. His slider at 73-75 from the lower arm slot shows sweeping action that was very difficult for right-handed hitters to pick up. The right-handed hitter went 4-for-6 with two doubles in game action and he showcased a bat exit velocity of 91 mph. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash and flashed 85 mph arm strength from the outfield while getting good reads during game action.
12/30/17 - 6-foot-2, 235-pound primary pitcher sat 77-80 from a low 3/4 arm slot with a unique delivery while touching 86 mph on his final pitch of his bullpen. The delivery incorporates a pause in the stack position followed by a second hitch prior to delivery. Curran worked solely out of the stretch with the exception of his final fastball. Curveball sat 64-68 with slider break and changeup sat 70-74 from a sidearm slot. The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel and an ability to create back spin with a bat exit velocity of 87 mph. Showcased athletic actions in the outfield with 86 mph arm strength while running a 7.60 60-yard dash.
