6/13/21

Physical: Physical, projectable 6-foot-4, 215lb frame with an imposing mound presence on the hill.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with a short, front side rocker into a high, hip-coiled leg-lift at the top of the stack. Hid the ball well with intent on the front side through a long, live-armed, high ¾ release. Pounded the zone using a high-spin fastball (84-86, T87 mph) that could also miss below barrels and generate ground balls. Mixed a two-plane curveball (68-71 mph) that featured up to 14 inches of depth and 14 inches of horizontal bite for swing and miss. Projects to accrue high strikeout totals as he continues adding to the repertoire.

7.10.18 - 6-foot, 180-pound primary pitcher sat 77-79 from a 3/4 arm slot while commanding his four-seam fastball. His two-seamer was thrown at the same velocity with some late sink and arm-side run. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 63-66 with a slower arm motion. Changeup at 67-69 displays some sink when thrown at fastball arm speed. Right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Showed a feel for the barrel with a long, flat bat path. Registered a bat exit velocity of 83 mph and showcased capable actions defensively with 73 mph arm strength across the diamond. Definite follow in this class as a two-way prospect with velocity spikes likely on the mound.
