10/28/18 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way prospect is a Rider commit. O'Donnell impressed with his well-rounded skill set just days after completing his high school football season. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing from a high hands load. Barreled the baseball consistently with authority, showing present power to both gaps with a bat exit velocity of 93 mph while swinging wood. Ran a 6.83 laser timed 60-yard dash and showcased 92 mph arm strength from the outfield. The primary outfielder also topped at 86 mph during his bullpen session.
10.28.18 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way prospect is a Rider commit. The primary outfielder impressed during his position player workout just one day removed from finishing his high school football season. On the mound, O'Donnell sat 85-86 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some stiffness to his arm action. His curveball at 73-75 showed tight 11/5 rotation and his changeup at 73-75 was thrown at near fastball arm speed.
1/28/18 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound two-way prospect turned in arguably the most well-rounded day of any player in attendance. The right-handed hitter turned heads with a loud round of batting practice and a 91 mph bat exit velocity. O'Donnell starts from a wide, square stance and initiates his swing with a heel raise stride. He creates above average barrel head speed with an aggressive lower half and quick hands. Displayed 90 mph arm strength from the outfield and ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. The right-hander completed an impressive day by sitting 81-84 on the mound from a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm while staying directional. Curveball sat 67-70 with 11/5 rotation and changeup sat 75-77 at near fastball arm speed.
6/114/17 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from an open stance and toe-taps to square. Circular hand load with barrel cock. Eyes stay on same plane throughout an athletic swing that flashes solid bat speed. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash and posted 85 mph exit velocity. Banged three extra base hits (including one to each gap) in two games. Defensively, he exhibited athletic actions and a strong arm (91 mph) with carry. Pitched out of an over-the-top slot from a deliberate wind-up. Fastball sat 82-84 and he got downhill fairly well with it. Threw two distinct breaking balls: a conventional 11/5 curveball at 68-70 and a knuckle-curveball at 71-73. Had a better feel for throwing the former in the zone, while the latter had tighter spin and is a potential out-pitch.

5/7/17 - Through 15 games during the spring of his sophomore season O'Donnell is hitting .460 with 23 hits, 18 runs scored, 13 RBI and a .517 on base percentage.

2/12/17 - Lanky, projectable 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame. Long armstroke, into a high three-quarter slot. Gets good extension and stays on-line to home plate. Fastball sat 82-83, which he maintained in the stretch, and touched 86 mph. Good feel for and command of a change-up at 72-73. Tended to bury his curveball at 70-73. Reminds of current La Salle University RHP C.J. Pruitt, a former two-way guy from the Ches-Mont League himself.

2/12/17 - Wiry, 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a slightly open stance with high hands launch and really works down into the zone. Body and weight come forward with stride, leaving his top half to do most of the work in his swing. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash and posted a 92 mph exit velocity. Not surprisingly for someone who impressed on the mound, he exhibits a live arm from long, loose arm action that produced 91 mph arm strength with carry.

1/28/17 - Two-way prospect put up the most impressive across the board measurables of the day. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound primary outfielder ran a 7.13 60-yard dash and flashed 88 mph arm strength from the outfield with athletic actions. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a heel-raise stride to initiate his swing. He displayed present power and a 91 mph bat exit velocity during a solid round of batting practice. The righty sat 83-85 off the bump from a high 3/4 arm slot. Also showcased a 75 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a developing 72 mph changeup.
