Right-handed pitchers

Jake Andrey, RHP/3B, Kings Christian HS (NJ), Class of 2019
6-foot, 215-pound two-way prospect is a Rider commit. The primary pitcher sat 86-89 from a high 3/4 arm slot with arm-side run to his fastball. Andrey begins his delivery with a controlled side rocker step and stays in line throughout his delivery with repeatable mechanics. Curveball showed 11/5 shape at 74-76. Changeup is an above average pitch at 77-80 thrown at fastball arm speed with similar arm-side run.

Nathan Blasick, 3B/RHP, Halifax Area HS (PA), Class of 20120
6-foot-3, 195-pound primary infielder is a West Virginia commit. The righty sat 88-91 our of a 3/4 arm slot with consistent arm-side run to his fastball. Works out of an up tempo delivery with an exaggerated side-rocker step. Slows arm speed on his curveball that showed 11/5 rotation at 62-67. Changeup was thrown at near fastball arm speed at 71-76. Athletic frame with repeatable mechanics. Likely to have opportunities to continue as a two-way player at the next level.

Adam Boucher, RHP, St. Joseph's Metuchen HS (NJ), Class of 2020
6-foot-5, 190-pound Duke commit. The junior sat 89-91 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose, quick arm stroke. Displayed above average balance throughout while staying directional. Fastball is fairly flat but Boucher does create some tilt due to his 6-foot-5 frame. Curveball showed solid depth out of the same window with 11/5 rotation at 71-77. Changeup is thrown with intent at 74-79. Very projectable frame that has additional room to develop.

Ron Cole, RHP, Neptune HS (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 185-pound Kentucky commit stood out from a group of 18 quality pitchers on the day. The righty sat 90-92 out of a 3/4 arm slot. Delivery is up tempo with a loose, quick arm action that produces heavy sink and arm-side run on his fastball. Curveball at 80-82 has late sweeping action and should transition into a quality slider in the future. Changeup is thrown at fastball arm speed with same sinking action as his fastball. Will break lots of wood bats in his future while producing plenty of ground ball outs.

Chic DeGaetano, RHP, Hazleton Area HS (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 195-pound Villanova commit. The righty sat 87-89 from an over-the-top arm slot with come cut to his fastball. DeGaetano works out of an up tempo delivery with a quick arm stroke and some head wag to his finish. Curveball at 75-79 at times shows hard 12/6 biting action. Tendency to get around the pitch at times causing it to back up. Changeup at 79-80 shows similar cutting action as his fastball, but a feel for the pitch is still in the works.

Adam Grintz, RHP, Downingtown West HS (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 195-pound Tulane commit. Grintz pitched for Team Pennsylvania at the 2016 and 2017 PBR Future Games. Has changed his arm stroke considerably since that time, shortening up his take away allowing him to get on top of his fastball consistently. Pounded the zone with three pitches on this date sitting 87-90 from a high 3/4 arm slot with his fastball. Curveball has short, late 11/5 shape at 79-81. Changeup is above average with arm-side run at 81-83.

Kenny Levari, SS/RHP, St. Augustine Prep HS (PA), Class of 2020
6-foot-1, 165-pound two-way prospect is an Old Dominion commit. The primary shortstop sat 88-91 from a high 3/4 arm slot with late life to his fastball. Starts with a side-rocker step and an overhead rocker into some hip coil in his stack. Long, loose arm action creates above average deception on his changeup at 78-80 with arm-side run and sink. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 72-75. Levari also flashed 92 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively.

Jake Madden, RHP, East Pennsboro HS (PA), Class of 2020
6-foot-4, 160-pound South Carolina commit. The long, lanky junior came into the event uncommitted but announced his college choice that evening. Madden has consistently been up to 90 mph during the summer and fall but sat 85-88 on this day out of a high 3/4 arm slot. With his commitment out of the way Madden will now be able to concentrate on adding strength to his projectable frame. His curveball showed tight 11/5 rotation at 72-75 while his changeup at 75-78 showed some sink at fastball arm speed.

Brendan O'Donnell, OF/RHP, Great Valley HS (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way prospect is a  Rider commit. The primary outfielder impressed during his position player workout just one day removed from finishing his high school football season. On the mound, O'Donnell sat 85-86 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some stiffness to his arm action. His curveball at 73-75 showed tight 11/5 rotation and his changeup at 73-75 was thrown at near fastball arm speed.

Gerry Peacock, RHP, St. Augustine Prep HS (NJ), Class of 2019
6-foot-3, 200-pound Dartmouth commit. The righty sat 90-92 from a high 3/4 arm slot with above average ride to his fastball up in the zone. Front hip tends to leak early, but maintains direction to the plate while creating some arm-side run. Curveball shape fluctuates between 11/5 and 12/6 with a high spin rate at 74-76. Changeup is thrown with intent at 79-82 showing similar arm-side run as the fastball. Physical frame with a quick arm. Additional velocity is likely moving forward.

David Platt, RHP, Palisades HS (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 215-pound Harford CC commit. Arguably the big winner on the day. Platt was a member of the Team Pennsylvania roster at the 2017 PBR Future Games. Has added significant velocity and command since that time. On this day he sat 92-93 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a head wag that did not take him off his mid-line. Fastball is flat with late life up in the zone. A much improved changeup at 82-87 gives Platt a quality second offering. The pitch showed heavy arm-side run and sink and was thrown with good sell. A slider at 77-83 has cutter action and is still a work in progress.

Jack Scanlon, C/RHP, Suffern HS (NY), Class of 2019
6-foot-4, 215-pound two-way prospect is a Texas Tech commit. The primary catcher impressed on the mound sitting 89-90 out of an athletic, balanced high 3/4 arm slot delivery. His curveball displayed tight 11/5 rotation with occasional two-plane action at 66-69. Scanlon's changeup is a quality third offering thrown at fastball arm speed with some cut action at 75-78. Scanlon's two-way ability should draw a number of scouts to see him in action this spring with many paying close attention to his progress on the mound.

Colten Smith, RHP, Germantown Academy (PA), Class of 2019
6-foot-2, 190-pound Duke commit. Smith has been up to 90 mph during the course of the summer, but sat 84-88 on this date at the end of the fall. His delivery is controlled and repeatable with a quick arm stroke out of a 3/4 arm slot. Smith's changeup at 75-77 is thrown with good sell and showed some sink and arm-side run. His slider has sweeping action at 75-77 while his curveball at 70-74 showed 11/5 rotation and some two-plane action.

Cole Vanderslice, RHP, St. Augustine Prep HS (NJ), Class of 2019
6-foot-1, 175-pound Villanova commit. Righty sat 86-88 out of a 3/4 arm slot with deliberate side rocker step and a quick arm stroke. His changeup is thrown with good sell at 76-78 and showed solid sink and some arm-side run. The slider is a quality third pitch at 75-78. Vanderslice is athletic with room to add to his frame. He has an above average feel for three pitches and showed an ability to command all three for strikes.
