Physical: Wiry athletic, projectable 5-foot-11, 170lb frame. 7.50 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Upright, narrow stance, as the hands start pre-slotted above the shoulder. Utilized a toe-tap stride and deeper turn to initiate the swing through a flat, rotational path with good start/stop ability on the finish. Recorded a T86 mph exit velocity via Trackman, translating into hard barrels to the middle-pull side of the field while working into a stiff front side. Quick hands showed no issues vs. velo during game action.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a soft glove hand, low-to-high through the zone from right-knee down. Soft receiver popped 1.98-2.08 with a carrying H ¾ slot that drove confidently off the backside (76 mph arm). Slid over to the middle infield and sat down on the ball with the ability to range in either direction.
Physical: Athletic, proportional 5-foot-11, 155lb frame. 7.71 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Tall, upright stance as the barrel rested just above the shoulder to start. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a fluid, clean swing through a slightly uphill path into the zone. Hit behind the ball extremely well, promoting a lofty approach through the middle of the field (67% fly ball rate via Trackman). Generated a high two-handed finish with obvious direction at the plate, staying on pitches thrown outer half for flush contact to the opposite field gap. Recorded a T86 mph bat-exit velocity for doubles power up to 304 foot distance at his peak.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a soft, down to up receive from LKD as the glove hand elbow worked as a lever. Pop times ranged from 2.12-2.28 with quick-shifting hips to straight line to the target. Finished upright at the finish at the front of the plate, finishing throws over the front-side from H ¾ slot (73 mph arm). Slid over to shortstop with positional flexibility as he controlled pace out in front, fielding off the middle of his body. Simple transition to throwing ear and ability to make accurate plays on the run with fast hands (T79 mph arm).
