Cross is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound OF/RHP from Cathedral Preparatory School. He hit .450 while posting a 1.75 ERA and 33 K in 16 IP on his way to 2nd-team District 10 Region 8 honors as a freshman.

5/23/14 Cross displayed his two-way potential with a strong night at the plate. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound sophomore went 3-for-4 with a double from a square stance. He shows good balance and rhythm throughout his swing. Cross moves well in the outfield and displayed a strong arm with good carry during in/out prior to the game.

5/12/14 Cross commanded a two pitch arsenal out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Cross has an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame and utilizes his lower half well out of the wind-up. He sat 84-85 with some arm side run to his fastball. Cross dropped to 78-80 out of the stretch but gained even better action on his 71 mph 11/5 breaking curveball. The sophomore, ranked No. 18 in the PA Class of 2016, has a loose arm and his fastball showed good late life.
