6/20/18 - 6-foot, 185-pound primary pitcher sat 76-78 from a high 3/4 arm slot during three innings of work in game action. Also showcased a 11/5 breaking curveball at 59-60, a changeup at 60-62 and a slider at 68-70. Allowed two runs on three hits and induced six ground ball outs. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. An upward path through the hitting zone creates some backspin with a bat exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash and showcased 78 mph arm strength across the diamond from third base.

1/28/18 - 6-foot, 185-pound primary pitcher sat 77-79 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a balanced, repeatable delivery. Curveball sat 64-68 with 11/5 rotation and slider with shorter break sat 68-71. Also displayed a changeup at 64-68 at near fastball arm speed. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Registered an 83 mph bat exit velocity and showcased a feel for the barrel while routinely barreling pitches to the middle of the diamond. Ran a much improved 7.43 60-yard dash and displayed developing defensive actions at third base with accurate 78 mph arm strength across the diamond.

9/23/17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound primary pitcher sat 75-77 from a high 3/4 arm slot allowing one run on four hits. Showed solid command of a four-pitch mix that also included a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 65-66, a slider with shorter break at 70-71 and a changeup at near fastball arm speed at 67-68. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Registered an 86 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Displayed capable actions defensively at third base with accurate 76 mph arm strength across the diamond.

7/18/17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound primary pitcher impressed at the plate going 5-for-11 with a double and a walk over the course of the two day event.  Whitton ran a 7.57 60-yard dash, and registered a 75 mph bat exit velocity at a previous PBR event this summer.  On the mound, the righty sat 75-78 out of a high 3/4 arm slot.  He also displayed a curveball with 11/5 shape at 65-66.  Whitton worked three innings showing solid command and the ability to hold his velocity out of the stretch.

6/27/17 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound primary pitcher sat 75-76 with some armside run to his fastball out of a high 3/4 arm slot.  Arm action is short in back and long out front and Whitton gets downhill well. Slider with short, late break at 70-72 is best secondary offering at this point in his development. Also displayed a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 67-69 and a changeup at 67-69.  Whitton ran a 7.57 60-yard dash and registered 75 mph arm strength across the infield defensively, a number that will improve as he works to play through the baseball.  The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short, lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing.  Ties himself up at times due to tendency to stride and hit at the same time. Showcased a 75 mph bat exit velocity.
