6/14/22

Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 170lb frame, feel for body. 6.98 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Upright, square stance, as the hands operated vertically at the shoulder to begin. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a connected, flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish on the backside. Simple bat to ball skills during the round, finding green to the pull-side gap with a lofty approach. Posted a T84 mph bat-exit velocity and 67% sweet spot rate via Trackman.

Defensively: The infielder displayed lower posture, creating quality angles towards the target at the fielding window. Rounded the ball with ability to make all the plays, reaching back for an 85 mph arm-strength off of a shuffle (H ¾ slot).

2/12/22

Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Athletic, slight build. 7.02 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Extended take back of the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 84 MPH. OF - 86 MPH. In the outfield, starts upright and uses a prep hop to stay ready. Takes direct route to the ball and fields off the glove side foot. Throws in a moderate arm action from a high 3/4 slot

6/15/21

Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 160lb frame with efficient movements in all phases. 7.18 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Wide, traditional stance utilizing a loose operation/low hand start with elbow rhythm into the rib cage. Coupled a stretched load on-time with a lift and replace stride, attacking through a flat path into the hitting zone with above-average feel for the top hand at impact. Posted a 56% line drive rate with ability to spray from line to line in the approach, making for a tough out in games action flashing tangible bat to ball skills. Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball during his batting practice round.

Defensively: The primary shortstop featured lots of activity pre-swing, showing a minor hop in the prep step. Got downhill early, stalking the baseball with positive chest angles gaining steps to the fielding window. Soft, smooth hand actions receiving cleanly and releasing from a well-paced high-¾ slot, following his throws after he gets rid (81 mph arm, left side consideration).

2/13/21

Physical: 5-foot-9, 155LBS. 7.44SEC 60-Yard Dash.

Offensively: LHH. Sets up open with weight on the rear leg. Works back to get forward. Hands move into a bow and arrow load which sets up a tight turn on the barrel into the hitting zone. Uses a leg lift to work back towards the pitcher. Hits into a firm front side with a high finish.

Defensively: Primary SS. Athletic, quick feet. Uses a hop step for prep. Works off center of the ground ball in order to read hops. Funnels to belt line and quickly begins his move towards the target.

2/22/20

Displayed a lean 5-foot-7, 130-pound frame with room to add size and strength as he matures. The left-handed hitter begins with a bent, open stance utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel path into the zone with slight weight shift and forward upper body lean. Showed feel for his hands while recording a 70 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice. Ran a 7.76 60-yard dash. The middle infielder demonstrated average footwork with a low center of gravity and soft hands out in front. A quick first step allowed for some range to both sides and smooth transfers yielded accurate 69 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway.

3/10/19

5-foot-3, 105-pound left-handed hitter starts with a slightly-open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Registered 68 mph bat-exit velocities during batting practice with advanced feel and recorded an 8.15 60-yard dash. Displayed soft hands and active feet on accurate throws of 61 mph across the infield. The right-handed pitcher used a balanced delivery to sit 62-64 mph from a high 3/4 arm-slot. His 49-53 mph curveball featured 11/5 rotation. Still is finding the feel on a 55-57 mph changeup.
