A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.

The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 190 pounds; Athletic, broad shouldered build. 6.92 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 99 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while covering ground laterally. Hands are soft with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 87 MPH.
6/15/21
Physical: Strong, uber-athletic 6-foot, 190lb frame with present two way abilities. 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even setup using a full body load into a bent backside with a leg lift operating as the timing into footstrike; exploded through a flat, sometimes slightly uphill path sticking the finish on the backside. High level strength exuded in the lower half producing lots of hard contact through the middle of the field, from gap to gap. Loud batting practice round working up to a T98 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman (91 mph AVG) and notched a 67% hard hit rate. True middle of the order characteristics with some of the better connection in attendance (372 foot batted ball distance).
Defensively: The shortstop featured above-average footwork showing off right to left movements at the fielding window. Short banana routes and held pace downhill through the target as a soft glove hand funneled accurately into the beltline. Released from a fluid, quick high ¾ slot with a glove-tap before throwing (84 mph, slight carry).
Pitching: RHP - Worked off the middle of the mound with gradual pace, racing down the slope into footstrike with a quick arm pounding strikes from H ¾. An 80-82 mph FB featured AVG carry to the plate and was into the zone early and often at a 47% rate per Trackman. Mixed a small biting 68-70 mph CB with developing spin traits and countered with a deceptive 68-71 mph CH thrown with good sell.
6/29/20
Physical: 5-foot-10, 165 pounds; strong, broad shoulders. 8.01 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even wide stance with upright bat angle; high hands with a high elbow load that leads to slight bat tip with a moderate leg kick. average effort, stays behind the ball well with long with some lift. Middle of the field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 83 MPH. Defensively: Low to the ground and walks into ready position; active feet, covers ground laterally. Stands up on transfer; high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 74 MPH.
