Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot, 180lb frame. 7.51 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Athletic, slightly open stance, as the hands begin flush on the shoulder. Utilized a simple leg-lift stride back to even, initiating the swing through a flat path towards a lifted finish. Efficient movements in the box, producing a loud pull-side approach during BP. Hit into a stiff front-side while recording a T88 mph exit velocity with some rotational power, up to a 335 foot max distance.
Defensively: The primary catcher showed flexibility in the crouch between right-knee down and traditional setups. Feel for the pocket on both sides, as pops ranged from 2.10-2.21 with a quick exchange and accurate throws to the glove-side at 74 mph (H ¾ slot).
Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot, 180lb frame. 7.39 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance, as the hands operated flush on the shoulder to begin. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate a quick trigger through a short to long, flat path into the hitting zone. Produced an efficient move up to 90 mph exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. Starting to settle into a more extra-base hit approach during gameplay; ability to hit for some average as well down the road.
Defensively: The backstop featured solid actions behind the plate, controlling the run game with quick, replaceable feet and a fluid transfer to the ear. Shorter, accurate H ¾ slot and 74 mph arm-strength from the crouch. Ranged between 2.10-2.21 with throws grazing the arm side of the bag.
Physical: Strong/athletic 5-foot-10, 165lb frame with room to continue adding. 7.43 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, slightly bent stance as the hands played loosely with up/down rhythm on the shoulder. Utilized a leg kick stride from knee to knee (controlled) initiating through an efficient, connected flat path into the hitting zone. Lots of length/leverage at the front of the plate allowing for a 100% line drive rate during batting practice (via Trackman). Impressive barrel awareness, commanding all quadrants with a low/medium-intent, high contact round that worked up to a 313 foot batted ball distance (280 foot AVG). Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity with mostly singles PWR for now, but showed the ability to hit for average at a high rate as he keeps gaining strength to the build.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a wide, kickstand setup on the receive, with adequate actions in the glove hand at the catch. Pop times ranged from 1.96-2.04 using good, directional footwork with some pre-catch rhythm working down through the throw at H . Able to replace early and exchange smoothly, releasing up to T75 mph arm strength on the bag, pretty consistently on the money.
