10/29/22

Physical: Longer, athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 182lbs with projection left.

Pitching: RHP. Quicker pace off the middle of the rubber; swings the leg upwards to stack position, coming slightly closed at the top, and powers down the mound. Strong H ¾ slot with heavy action from a H ¾ slot, working 81-82 mph mostly to arm-side. Mixed a short sweeping upper-60’s CB and commanded 69-70 mph CH for strikes (50% zone).

8/26/22

Physical: 6-foot-2, 182 pounds; Athletic, muscular build. 6.83 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Lifts hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 98 MPH via Trackman. Showed a repeatable swing with gap to gap power.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while being aggressive. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 89 MPH. Good actions to the baseball with a plus arm.
