8/02/20

Physical: Lean / projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame with advanced tools throughout his game and athleticism present in all actions. 6.88 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Long levered in the box, starts from a wide and slightly bent stance with the hands showing controlled barrel wiggle at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride in order to initiate a quick and compact stroke with little extra going on through a flat barrel path in the hitting zone. Generated slight lift after contact getting through the ball towards extension with feel for ambushing the LCF gap. Got off smooth and easy hacks but dealt plenty of damage using the long levers at the front of the plate. Featured one of the better rounds of batting practice on the day with advanced feel for his hands in the box, with added weight could slide into the middle of a collegiate batting order down the road with ability to situationally hit as well. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 94 mph per Trackman Baseball / 62 % hard hit rate.

Defensively: The primary outfielder moved fluidly covering plenty of space during defensive evaluations. Medium-low center of gravity with a quick first step, got downhill on the approach with active footwork arriving to the baseball off of the left side of his body. Long strides and ability to generate whip on throws towards the target out of a long, high ¾ slot. OF - 82 mph

6/15/20

Dunn is able to produce 8.4 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 65%.  hard contact to the pull side; average Trackman exit velocity of 88 MPH; peak exit velo was 96 MPH.

Defensively: Starts upright; Aggressively attacks the ball on the ground. fields the ball on his glove foot and gets rid of the ball quickly; Quick arm swing with a 3/4 slot.   OF - 88 MPH.

2/22/20

Showcased a lean 6-foot, 162-pound frame with present twitch and athleticism in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-hang to initiate his swing. Generated a slightly uphill path with noticeable pull side lift allowing for advanced barrel control during batting practice. A twitchy lower half created advanced hand speed through the hitting zone. Recorded an 89 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showed off advanced footwork with a quick first step and took advantageous routes to the ball yielding accurate 87 mph arm-strength from his position. The right-handed pitcher sat 80-82 mph out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot with room for more. Mixed in a 68 mph curveball with late 11/5 depth, with ability to be thrown for strikes. Changeups featured quality sell at 77-79 mph and showed occasional arm-side run.
