9/22/13 Myers is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound uncommitted senior that faced one batter over the minimum over three innings of work at Lehigh University. Myers commanded three pitches for strikes, including a changeup at near fastball arm speed. The righty allowed no hits while striking out two and retiring seven batters via ground balls.
2/23/13 Myers turned in a 4.25 home-to-first time and displayed a solid 80 mph arm across the infield. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound junior showed a capable glove and good footwork around the bag. Myers showcased an 81 mph bat exit velocity in a round of batting practice where he squared most pitches and showed some pop in his bat. Myers sat 81-82 with some arm side run out of a high 3/4 arm slot during his bullpen session. His fastball jumps out of his hand and he hides the ball well by showing the numbers of his jersey out of the wind up. Myers also commanded a 67 mph 11/5 breaking curveball that showed tight rotation and a 73 mph changeup with some arm-side run. Myers has added 6-8 mph of velocity to his fastball in the past six months and does not appear to be finished developing.
10/9/12 The 6-foot-1, 175-pound junior used a high 3/4 delivery to deliver a 76mph fastball, 64mph changeup and 61mph curveball. Myers showcased a solid change up with late downward movement. The right-handed hitter has a strong lower half that he used to consistently square the baseball in his round of batting practice.
8/22/12 The RHP is a strike throwing machine with solid mechanics. Myers delivered strike after strike out of a high 3/4 arm slot topping at 74mph with his fastball, 67mph on his 10/4 breaking curveball and 66mph on his changeup with late arm side run. Myers threw 66mph across the infield and had a 78mph bat exit speed velo that he put to good use in a solid round of batting practice. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect used a short, balanced swing path to consistently drive baseballs to all fields.
6/14/12 Myers showcased a fast ball which topped out at 74 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot. He displayed the ability to throw all three of his pitches for strikes. Offensively he demonstrated a balanced approach with a short stroke, leading to consistent line drives off his bat.
