The 5-foot-11, 185-pound sophomore also commanded a 68 mph 11/5 breaking curveball, 73 mph slider with sharp break and a 75 mph changeup. Fraschetti's curveball has a bit of frisbee rotation while his changeup showed some late sink and was thrown with good arm speed.
2/15/14 The 5-foot-11, 185-pound sophomore showed good feet and a fluid transition at 3B with accurate throws of 79 mph across the diamond. Fraschetti hits from a square stance with a toe tap trigger and good rhythm throughout his swing. The right-handed hitter barreled the baseball to all fields and demonstrated some gap power with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Fraschetti also registered a 4.36 home-to-1B time.
6/13/12 Fraschetti was impressive in all facets of the game especially during his time on the mound. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Fraschetti sat 76-78 with his fast ball. He showed very good command of his fast ball and curve ball utilizing an over the top arm angle. Fraschetti projects as a pitcher to watch in the Class of 2016.
Offensively Fraschetti demonstrated an advanced approach for a prospect of his age. He used a short, balanced swing with good rhythm throughout to produce consistent line drives to all fields.
