7/29/20
Physical: 6-foot-2, 215 pounds; strong, sturdy build. 7.63 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, slightly open stance; short fluid take back of the hands with a toe tap stride. Strong lower half, stays behind the ball well with direct swing path with high bat speed, quick to the ball. Pull side approach with some power; peak Trackman exit velocity of 99 MPH.
Defensively: Upright setup; active approach, attacks the baseball on the ground, smooth & fluid movements in the INF. Clean transfer; long arm swing, standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 67 MPH.
7/15/20

Physical: Large and thickly built 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame with advanced strength throughout the frame. 7.57 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Wide, open stance with the weight slightly coiled around a moderately bent back right knee, the hands started idle and controlled at the shoulder. Utilized a toe-tap stride in order to initiate a violent, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased smooth mechanics throughout the swing with ability to turn the barrel early and get the hands going through the ball with intent towards extension. Generated plenty of pull-side juice during a standout batting practice round with noticeable home run power to LF. Sunk into an athletic and powerful lower half generating quality hip shoulder separation in the box. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 94 mph according to Trackman Baseball. With a short time to contact coupled with solid bat to ball skills, the right handed hitter possesses the ability to be a legitimate power bat moving forward.

Defensively: The primary first baseman featured adequate feel around the bag at first with a moderately low center of gravity and short, choppy actions on the approach as he fielded off of the left side of his body. The glove hand was soft and could push or give depending on hops, the arm was accurate across the diamond out of a high ¾ slot. INF - 73 mph
