7/20/16 Lean 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from a square stance and strides slightly closed. Hands worked and he stayed inside the ball during his BP round, while he squared up a mid-80s fastball back up the middle during game play on day two of the event. Registered an 85 mph exit velocity. Athletic actions in the outfield with accurate throws of 84 mph.

Pitched entirely from the stretch out of a three-quarter slot for one inning. Good hip load and clean arm action generated a fastball at 80-81 and a tight slider at 76-77 for which he has a good feel.

6/17/15 5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from square stance with weight on back side, takes short stride, hips slide forward for weight transfer. Stiff wrists from holding bat deep and overrotating bottom hand. Showed ability to stay inside ball and use opposite field. Would benefit from additional physical strength. Moved well defensively and showed accurate 84-mph arm with low trajectory in workout.

6/17/15 Undersized frame (5-foot-9, 145-pounds). Pitched entirely out of the stretch from a high three-quarter slot. In first outing, threw strikes with a three-pitch mix that included a fastball with a bit of tail at 77-78, and 11/5 curveball at 73-74 for which he has a good feel, and a firm change-up. In second outing, featured a solid cutter that ran away from barrels at 76-mph.
