Miller showed good feet (6.98 60-yard dash) and an 81 mph arm across the diamond. The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder is likely to make a defensive move at the next level to a corner infield or outfield position and showcased the arm strength to be able to do so.
2/15/14 Miller was one of the most impressive middle infield prospects in attendance. He showed well in all facets of the game with fluidity to all his actions. He demonstrated plus bat speed and some power potential from the right side of the plate. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior drove the baseball consistently with a bat exit velocity of 87 mph. Miller turned in a 4.39 home-to-1B time and showed athletic actions defensively. He showed the ability to make plays on the move and an easy 80 mph arm across the diamond with much more in the tank.
11/2/13 Miller impressed defensively during his workout with solid footwork and soft hands. He registered a top throwing speed of 77 mph across the diamond with an easy arm action that looks to have more in there when he needs it. Miller displayed the ability to play the baseball on the move and showed fluidity to all of his actions. At the plate, his swing has a bit of a loop, but the 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitter has a chance to develop gap power. He barreled the baseball consistently and displayed a bat exit velocity of 84 mph.
6/12/13 The 5-foot-9, 165-pound two-way player had a very solid round of batting practice hitting from a square stance.
