Physical: Strong, athletic 6-foot-2, 190lb frame with feel present. 7.53 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open, slightly bent stance, as the barrel wiggles in front of the shoulder to begin. Utilized a methodical leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a connected, uphill path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Displayed a mostly middle-to-pull-side approach with ability to start and stop the body in the box. Recorded a T89 mph exit velocity.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured quality receiving skills out of a traditional stance. Pop times ranged from 2.00-2.07 with quick feet and an active rear-hip at release (H ¾ slot, 76 mph arm). Showed blocking skill set around the plate with down angles.
Physical: 6-foot-2, 190 pounds; Proportional, athletic build. 7.5 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet narrow; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying in an elevated position. Hands are out in front while standing up during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. 1.99-2.03 pop times. C - 77 MPH.
Physical: A solid blend of strength and athleticism in a 6-foot-2, 185lb frame. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Started taller and just outside shoulder-width as the hands operated high in rhythm. Utilized a short up/down lift and replace stride to initiate a flat, short path into the hitting zone. Stayed direct to the ball with no extra movements, able to find the barrel consistently at a 55% line drive rate (via Trackman). Low effort with natural bat to ball skills, manipulating the bat head to different quadrants with confidence at the plate. Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak while working up to a 284 foot batted ball (occasional doubles power).
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a calm, traditional setup (staggered) with a soft glove hand at the catch. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.11 seconds with efficient, directional footwork out towards the bag. Repeated well and stayed fluid, releasing from a H ¾ slot while maintaining momentum (76 mph arm).
