Pitching: RHP - Worked 77-80 mph out of an over the top arm slot downhill into the zone. When he stays on top and gets out in front on the release, the command is very sharp. The curveball played out of the same tunnel at 64-66 mph with 11/5 rotation showing a slight hook in the takeaway. Displayed a quality 71-72 mph changeup demonstrating swing and miss capabilities to left handed hitters; shows the makings of a true out pitch moving forward.
6-foot-2, 195-pound primary pitcher sat 80-82 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm motion. Curveball sat 65-67 with 11/5 rotation with a hook in the takeaway. His changeup is an advanced pitch with excellent feel and heavy arm-side run at 73-74. The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Displayed a strong lower half with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 93 mph and ran a 7.46 60-yard dash.
