Physical: Lean and compact, 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame with increased feel for his body. 7.35 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Narrow, open stance with the hands starting with slight rhythm out in front of the chest. Utilized a leg hang stride while working slightly negative and flat towards the baseball at times in order to generate a line drive approach at the dish. Short A to B approach generating a 50% line drive rate with advanced bat to ball skills. Strong top hand while recording an interesting 88 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball (83 mph average). A 25.40 mph hand speed will play admirably at the next level, especially seeing as it has time to continue developing doubles power at the moment .. A standout 38.3 G’s of rotational acceleration makes him an immediate follow with what should be a heightened power ceiling down the road.
Defensively: The primary shortstop flashed comfort in the actions from the left side of the infield, easy approach with the weight on his toes, downhill chest angles, and increased pace across the diamond (79 mph arm strength). Ability to make plays on the run with solid athleticism too.
Demonstrated feel for a lean and athletic 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame with room to add strength and fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, tall and narrow stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate a handsy flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Lower half rotation gets cut off early allowing for upper half rotation to dominate the swing. Showcased a line drive approach during batting practice with a strong top hand yielding an 80 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. The primary shortstop displayed adequate footwork while playing with a low center of gravity creating momentum towards the target. Recorded an accurate 80 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a high ¾ arm-slot with solid posture throughout his movements. Made the play on the run with ease showing ability to throw from different arm angles.
