Notes

6/14/22

Physical: Athletic, longer-framed 6-foot, 155lb build. 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Taller, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated from a higher start. Utilized a simple leg lift stride to initiate a whippy, flat path into the zone while hitting behind the ball. Recorded a T89 mph bat-exit velocity and hammered the LCF gap with clean extension on the front side (305 foot distance).

Defensively: The third baseman flashed a hop in the prep step at the hot corner, staying on his toes with the pace to stick moving forward. Read hops properly before accelerating through the touch and getting rid of the ball up to 81 mph positionally from a quick trigger.

Pitching: RHP. Begins off the leftward tip of the rubber; faster pace into a repeatable landing position. Delivered from a smooth H ¾ slot, more in the tank at 79-82 mph. Showed some feel for an 11/5 curveball, which featured extra lateral life at times. A developing 62-63 mph CH rounds out the arsenal.

2/19/22

Physical: 5-foot-11, 155 pounds; Muscular, athletic build. 7.43 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while showing choppy feet. Hands are underneath the body with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 79-81 MPH; arm side run. CB: 62-65 MPH; late action.  CH: 68-69 MPH; fading action. OTHER: (SNK) 80 MPH;.
