Urban is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound OF/3B from Coatesville HS. He plays travel baseball with Elite Baseball of Lancaster.

2/14/15 Urban starts from an open stance and strides to square. He takes a short, simple stride, uses a bat wiggle trigger with his hands getting to a good launch point, and his head stays still throughout his swing. He consistently takes a short path to the baseball with a gap-to-gap approach. Defensviely, Urban profiles as a corner guy at the next level.
7/20/14 Urban is a 5-foot-9, 160-pound left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance and strides closed with a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. Urban showed the ability to barrel the baseball consistently to all fields during batting practice while consistently staying inside the baseball. The junior showed fluid actions defensively with an accurate 80 mph arm and ran a 7.13 60-yard dash.
4/9/14 Urban went 2-3 with 3 RBI. He ran a 4.28 home-to-1B on a groundout to SS (he stayed through a ball away well, but it just ran off his barrel) and a 4.12 on a squeeze bunt. He also barreled up a line-drive single in the 4-hole his third at-bat.
1/20/14 In his round of batting practice, Urban flashed very good bat speed with a smooth swing and extension through contact. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound left-handed hitter showed a high hands load, quiet actions and the ability to make consistent hard contact with a bat exit velocity of 73 mph. Urban ran a 7.30 60-yard dash and showcased a 70 mph arm from his outfield position. The sophomore, who also catches, popped times of 2.13-2.18 on throws of 70 mph from the crouch and would benefit from raising his slot to improve his accuracy and prevent his throws from tailing.
