9/30/18 - On the mound, 6-foot, 170 pound left-hander works out of high 3/4 arm slot with low effort delivery. Arm action is long and loose. Delivery has rhythm and athleticism is evident. Fastball sat 80-81 mph with demonstrated ability to cut to both sides of the plate. Curveball command was spotty. At it's best the pitch showed late, slurvy action with 1/7 shape. Slider at 70-71 mph had makings of developing into quality out pitch with 1/8 shape, tight spine and solid tilt. Change up at 71-72 mph was thrown at fastball arm speed with consistent arm side fade/sink. While Keely did not have his best command on this day, the quality of his stuff, arm action and athleticism continue to make him an interesting uncommitted left-handed arm.

8.16.18 - 6-foot, 170-pound lefty sat 78-80 from a high 3/4 arm slot. Showed balance to his high knee delivery and repeated well with a feel for four pitches. Curveball at 70-71 showed 1/7 rotation while slider at same velocity had a flatter, later break. Changeup is a quality 4th pitch thrown with good sell at 75-77. Quality uncommitted left-hander that should draw interest this fall with a chance to add additional strength to his frame.

6.20.17 - 5-foot-10 155-pound left- handed hitter initiates swing with lift and replace stride.  Shows soft controlled load with loose hands, good balance and excellent rhythm to swing. Demonstrated good separation and feel for barrel consistently squaring up baseball and using whole field in round of BP. Swing is short and on plane early and late with direct hand path.   Recorded bat exit velocity of 82.

Defensively, moved athletically around bag.  There was some tendency to field ball deep and from top down.
