Physical: 6’3 205lb RHP/3B ran a 7.61 laser timed 60 yard dash. Long limbed frame has room to fill out and gain physical strength.
Offensively: Uses simple movements and a tight coil throughout the swing to maintain good posture. Showed quick bat speed and the ability to adjust to pitches in the hitting zone.
Defensively: Uses long strides to approach the ball as he lowers his center of gravity on time to receive the ball. Uses a max effort to make throws across the infield. Shows ability to move well and throw on the run using a lower arm slot.
Pitching: Controlled windup, he uses his body well as his leg lift begins. He engages his rear leg and explodes in the direction of the mound. His arm works quick and efficiently downhill towards the strike zone.
2.9.19 - 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts with a wide, square stance and utilizes a leg-hang with a bat-wiggle at the top of his load. Hits to a stiff front-side, but shows feel for his lower half registering a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Plays long in the field, notching accurate throws of 76 mph with carry from his position. Ran a 7.85 60-yard dash. The right-handed pitcher displayed his length on the mound. Kell used a high stack and 3/4 release to deliver 76-80 mph fastballs that featured arm-side-run. 63-64 mph curveballs showed more of a 10/4 tilt and true slurve action. Changeups demonstrated good sell with arm-side-run at 66-67 mph.
