6/15/16 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Very quick hands a solid lower half turn leads to significant barrel whip (89 mph bat exit velocity) and balls jump of his barrel. Went 3-for-7 with a double and a triple in game action. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash, but plays even faster. Showed big arm strength across the diamond defensively (86 mph) and the ability to play multiple defensive positions including the outfield at the next level.
6/24/15 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from slightly closed stance with heel-raise stride. Quiet approach with repeatable swing that has some looseness. Ran a 7.22 60-yard-dash and posted an in-game best 4.72 home-to-1B time. Showcased 86-mph exit velocity and 79-mph arm strength. Long, loose arm action; straightens up to throw from three-quarter slot. Would like to see him follow his throws instead of stopping his feet on release. Carries glove high, works down to ball, tendency to field ball deep.
2/22/15 5-foot-10, 140-pound prospect with skinny, athletic frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts with short stride. Compact, simply swing. Slight loft to his path with line drive production. Repeatable and consistent. Top exit velocity of 83 mph off the tee. Ran a 4.68 60. Defensively, he throws from a ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Showed good arm strength with a top velocity of 78 mph across the infield. Transfer gets a tad long. Average hands and feet at this stage that probably project him best at second base.
