A number of prospects had impressive performances on the first day of the 2015 PA Underclass Games at Tambur Field on the campus of Misericordia University. Players dodged early rain drops to complete two games and batting practice during first day action. Day two action today will culminate with defensive evaluations, the 60-yard dash and two more nine inning games. Following is a brief look at some of the top performances from Day One action.

+ 2016 1B/RHP Dillon Good registered a 90 mph bat exit velocity during a solid round of batting practice and went 2-for-3 with a single and a home run in game action.

+ 2018 MIF/RHP Kyler Fedko showcased a solid swing during batting practice and went 4-for-4 with a double in game action.

+  2017 C/3B Dan Stauffer had a solid 2-for-3 day with a double.

+ 2017 MIF/OF Brad Dippold showed loose hands and a feel for the barrel in a 4-for-4 day at the plate with a double.

+ 2017 MIF Kyle Shingledecker barreled the baseball in 3 of 4 at bats including a triple to the left-center field gap.

+ 2017 C/1B/RHP Michael Haley went 3-for-3 with two doubles and showed projectablity on the mound sitting 80-81 with more in the tank.

+ 2019 C/OF Bobby Whalen turned some heads with a 2.08 in game pop time while also showing advanced offensive abilities for a player his age. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 in game action barreling the baseball in all three at bats.

+ 2017 RHP/OF Santino Nave' impressed on the mound, building off his sold showing last week in the PA Underclass Games. The  5-foot-10, 160-pound righty worked two innings facing the minimum while registering four strikeouts. Nave' showed solid command of a low-80s fastball and a curveball with tight rotation.
