Stoudt is a 2016 RHP/IF who attends Perkiomen School. He has gone 12-2 during the course of his 1st two high school seasons with 69 strikeouts.
6/25/14 Stoudt impressed with a quality two pitch mix out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound righty sat 83-85 with fluid rhythm and a repeatable delivery. Stoudt's changeup impressed. The uncommitted junior throws the pitch at the same arm speed as his fastball with significant arm side run. Stoudt used his two pitches equally during three innings of work registering five strikeouts.
4/26/14 Lean frame, room to add. High-3/4 slot. FB 76-79, touch 80. Threw strikes. Slurvy CB that he showed early and then went away from. Prefered 66-68 CH thrown with vulcan grip. CH showed some tumble when he maintains arm speed, but left it up when he slowed down and guided it.
2/16/19: Impressive first-time ever look at the 6-foot-1, 190 pound righty. Ran his fastball up to 94 mph from a high three-quarters slot. Sat mostly 91-93 mph. Occasional riding life when up in the zone. With the naked eye, looked like a higher spin rate on his fastball, but not confirmed via TrackMan. Secondary offerings improved with each out. Flashed a tight-spinning breaking ball at 80-83 mph and a 76-78 mph Vulcan-grip changeup. Allowed three runs (one earned) in 3.2 IP, walking two and striking out six. He was more a victim of his defense (three errors and below average infielder range) than his efforts on the bump. Stoudt is a very intriguing arm who could throw even harder later in the year and rise in the draft when the weather warms up. (Seifert)
