Physical: 5-foot-11, 180 pounds; athletic,strong frame. 7.44 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even upright stance with hands back; keeps hands back during initial forward move with a toe tap stride. Strong lower half, turns on the ball with a very efficient swing that stays in the zone, on-plane percentage around 80%. Pull side approach, goes out and attacks the pitch; peak Trackman exit velocity of 88 MPH.
Defensively: Athletic positioning to start; quick first step, fluid & athletic through transitions, strong arm from the OF. Clean transfer; short arm swing, standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 86 MPH.
Pitching: Center rubber setup, up-tempo side step into loose & fluid leg kick; taps into lower half as he drives down the mound, long stride and really jumps at the hitter with a downhill release; firm front side with a balanced finish. Quick, short arm action with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 85 MPH, while sitting 84-85 MPH. Gets arm side movement on the fastball. CB: 66-68 MPH. Has slider rotation with a lot of horizontal break. CH: 72-75 MPH. Gets some arm side fade on the pitch.
