Physical: Long-legged, athletic 6-foot, 165lb frame. 7.35 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, upright stance, as the hands operated loosely by the ear. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate a leveraged, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Immediately two handed finish from right to left, allowing for pull-side approach while hitting just behind the front side. Recorded a T86 mph exit velocity via Trackman and carried some XBH punch in his barrel into game action.
Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated active pre-pitch footwork and matched direction off the barrel. Rounded the ball, working downhill over the front side with soft hands. Able to go range to his left, and finished off with accurate 77 mph arm action.
Physical: Lean, projectable 6-foot-1, 170lb frame with athleticism available. 7.02 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with a slight bend in the knees as the hands showed at a controlled, strong position. Utilized a leg kick stride with feel into footstrike, initiating through a well connected, flat path working behind the baseball into the hitting zone. Smooth operation during batting practice, yielding lots of flush contact through the middle of the field en route to a 38% fly ball rate via Trackman. Carried the baseball for big time juice to pull, evidenced by a 344 foot batted ball distance on a blast that played pepper with the LCF wall. Posted a T89 mph bat-exit velocity with more on the way, featuring high-level consistency/maturity in the approach.
Defensively: The primary outfielder displayed feel for his feet, arriving on time with downhill momentum, fielding off of a shoulder-width base on the left side. Stayed behind the ball in the air with a glove tap before releasing from a quicker, moderate H ¾ slot (80 mph, accurate). Projects a stay in CF/LF moving forward with ability to go get the baseball.
