2/07/21

Physical: Well-proportioned, durable 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with some strength found in the lower half.

Pitching: RHP - Above-average pace in the delivery with a leg lift just above belt height, good sink into the legs during the leg drive outwards towards the plate with confidence in all offerings out of a high ¾ slot. FB ranged from 82-84 mph with sneaky ride (18.1 inches average) working well up in the zone paired with a 72-74 mph SL getting up to 8.1 inches of HM. Got great extension on the CH (6 feet average) allowing for deception out of the hand from the same release height as the FB. Definitely has a chance to reach the next tier.

2/23/20

Showcased a compact 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with present strength in his actions. The primary right-handed pitcher worked down in the zone sitting 78-81 mph out of a repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway. Mixed in a 71-74 mph curveball with 11/5 shape that played well down in the zone. Countered with a 70-73 mph changeup thrown with quality sell and showed flat action. Featured feel for a 74-76 mph slider with horizontal bite. The left-handed hitter begins with a even, balanced stance with rhythm in his hands utilizing a lift-and-replaces stride to initiate a high-effort swing through a slightly uphill barrel path. Generated solid hand-speed through the zone with occasional pull-side lift during batting practice. Recorded a 78 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder flashed adequate footwork while taking advantageous routes to the ball. A soft glove hand and fluid transfers allowed for an accurate 78 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
