Physical: Physical, powerful 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame with plenty of athleticism and strength in the actions. 7.59 runner in the 60-yard dash. Connecticut commit.
Offensively: LHH. Tall, open setup with a looseness in the hands at the shoulder. Utilized a controlled toe-tap stride with stretch in the load creating violent hip / shoulder separation in a swing with tons of natural barrel speed. Bat works through a slightly uphill path through the point of contact delivering damage towards extension. The physical lefty just looks like a hitter; peppered multiple home runs to RF and CF during a loud, standout batting practice round. The lower half can adjust to offspeed pitches allowing for extra base hits to LCF as well. Complete hitter with high level bat to ball skills. Registered an advanced 99 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary first baseman displayed feel around the bag with a low center of gravity and a quick first step. Handled the baseball easily to either side with a soft glove hand and showed athleticism getting back to the bag on double play turns. Arm action works through a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway. 1B - 80 mph

Hard contact up the middle to his pull side. 96 MPH raw exit velocity. Defensively: Smooth footwork, fields the ball off-center on his glove foot, light on his feet. Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 76 MPH.
2/16/19
6-foot-3, 220-pound left-handed hitter took one of the more impressive rounds of batting practice over the two days of the event, showcasing present power to the pull side and the ability to stay in the zone for long periods of time. Registered a 91 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.86 60-yard dash. Displayed capable feet and glove work around the bag at first base with accurate 76 mph arm strength across the diamond.
