A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+

The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: Longer, uber-projectable 6-foot-3, 190lb frame with strength found.
Pitching: RHP. Begins off the middle-left side of the rubber; momentum-gaining pace with quick acceleration out in front, showing life out of the hand from a medium H ¾ slot. The FB worked 80-83 mph (2456) with occasional run to the arm-side, mixing an advanced mid-70’s CB with two-plane tilt (11/5). A 75-76 mph CH featured consistent fade, able to kill spin at release.
2/12/22
Physical: 6-foot-3, 190 pounds; Long, lean build. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing no restrictions; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 84-86 MPH; straight action. CB: 69-70 MPH; slurve like action. CH: 79-80 MPH; runs.
6/15/21
Physical: Projectable, high-waisted, and athletic 6-foot-3, 170lb frame with long levers on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Starts off the far left side of the rubber with average pace to the delivery. Repeated well getting to a balanced stack position and getting over the front side on time at H ¾. The FB pounded with great success at 80-82 mph (arm-side run, 68% zone rate via Trackman) adding a good 69-71 mph CB for occasional swing/miss with leverage out in front (11/5 shape). Mixed a solid 72-74 mph CH that he faded on occasion, showing killed spin and natural feel at release. Leaned on FB/CH primarily turning to CB in advantage counts for putaway.
2/06/21
Physical: Lean, projectable 6-foot-2, 155-pound frame with athleticism throughout.
Pitching: RHP - Started from the middle of the rubber with average pace in the delivery, medium/traditional leg lift up to the belly button, repeatable leg drive out towards the plate, and leveraged arm allowing for a 76-79 mph FB to play with 2171 spin in multiple quadrants of the zone. Mixed in a two-plane 66 mph CB with feel for spin (2301 RPM’s) while getting up to -8 inch of IVB / 12.9 inch of HM. A 68-70 mph CH hit the brakes on the way to the plate yielding up to 15.6 inch of HM to the arm-side while notching a somewhat similar release height to the FB (4.55 feet / 4.66).
