Physical: Strong, physical 6-foot, 200-pound frame with power in the lower half; durable starter’s build.
Pitching: LHP - Showcased a slow-tempoed, deliberate delivery with crossfire on the land demonstrating overall command of all of his pitches / hides the ball extremely well on the takeaway. Utilized an easy, high ¾ arm-slot with natural arm-side run on an 81-84 mph FB in the zone. Mixed in a sweeping 68-71 mph CB featuring 1/7 tilt with feel on the release and a 69-72 mph SL with short horizontal down in the zone.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 200-pounds. Strong, athletic build. Pitching: Balanced easy effort delivery with a leg lift above the waist and coil, stride and shoulders stay in line through a repeatable release and follow through. Long, fluid arm swing to a 3/4 release. FB: T83, 81-83 MPH. Arm side run with life into the zone. CB: 64-67 MPH. Sharp 1-7 break. CH: 68-70 MPH. Arm side fade.
7/09/19
6-foot, 200-pound lefty turned in the most impressive bullpen of the event. He sat 83-85 out of a 3/4 arm slot with an easy, repeatable delivery. Uses his lower half efficiently and commands his fastball with regularity. Curveball at 69-72 showed heavy 1/7 break with a chance to induce plenty of ground balls. Changeup was commanded with fastball arm speed at 71-75 with natural cut. A projectable frame has room to continue to fill out and velocity gains are likely moving forward.
