RECENT EVENT HISTORY
2019 Eastern PA College Prospect Showcase
6-foot, 200-pound lefty turned in the most impressive bullpen of the event. He sat 83-85 out of a 3/4 arm slot with an easy, repeatable delivery. Uses his lower half efficiently and commands his fastball with regularity. Curveball at 69-72 showed heavy 1/7 break with a chance to induce plenty of ground balls. Changeup was commanded with fastball arm speed at 71-75 with natural cut. A projectable frame has room to continue to fill out and velocity gains are likely moving forward.
WHAT TO EXPECT
"Extremely durable LHP that demonstrated command to both sides of the plate with his FB back in July. Curveball has a smaller but late break with some slider tendencies. Would like to see it thrown harder to where it might become more of a true slider vs. a hybrid. Change up is a solid offering that will continue to gain value as he faces higher end hitters. Excited to see this southpaw again at the end of February.
PLAYER COMPARISON
*Many times coaches will ask our staff "Who does he remind you of?" Player "comps" are a popular tool in the scouting/recruiting world and we have decided to add that niche to our feature articles.
