7/15/20

Physical: Strong and athletic 6-foot, 180-pound frame with advanced feel for his body on the mound. Ithaca College commit.

Pitching: LHP - Side rocker step with a moderate tempo throughout the delivery, slight hip coil with a center of gravity working over the backside allowing the arm to get deep on the takeaway past the hip, came through a high ¾ slot with quickness and repeatability on the release. The FB ranged from 79-81 mph with present arm-side run while commanding both sides of the plate, mixed in a 66-67 mph CB with 1/7 shape and late, back door break on occasion. Dropped in a third offering; a 74-75 mph CH with near fastball arm-speed.

2/15/20

6-foot, 180-pound primary pitcher sat 79-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot with hip coil to his delivery. Curveball at 69-72 showed consistent 1/7 shape. Changeup is an above average pitch at 74-75 with arm-side fade and good arm speed. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and begins with a lift-and-replace stride. Showcased feel for the barrel with a middle of the field approach. Direct swing path while staying behind the baseball leads to consistent back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 6.93 60-yard dash. Displayed athletic defensive actions around the bag at first base with a soft glove hand and 79 mph arm strength across the diamond.
