2/07/21

Physical: Lean, uber-athletic 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame with twitch in the actions. 6.69 runner in the 60-yard dash showing off a near “plus” run tool.

Offensively: RHH - Tall and narrow setup as the hands started flat on the shoulder, utilized a deliberate leg lift stride getting back on the ground in plenty enough time, allowing the hands to whip through a flat, adjustable path and into the hitting zone. Mostly pull-side contact at the dish yielding an impressive 50% line drive rate; confidence that he can hit for average down the line. An 86 mph bat-exit velocity points towards a table setter approach at the moment and should blend into doubles and gap to gap power down the line.

Defensively: The primary outfielder showcased easy actions during defensive evaluations flashing early reads off of the bat while setting himself up for good body positions to field the baseball. The arm projects to keep him at a LF spot at the moment, working through a short, high ¾ slot giving way to an accurate 79 mph arm strength.

1/20/19

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitter starts slightly open featuring a lift and replace stride. Has advanced feel for the barrel as he consistently squared balls up to all fields with a 79 mph bat exit velocity. Showed good athleticism with a 4.58 home-to-first time as well as in the outfield during defensive evaluations. Can develop a longer arm action with a bigger takeaway to improve arm strength.
