10/27/18

10.27.18 - 6-foot-2, 195-pounder showcased as a two-way prospect. The primary pitcher sat 83-85 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a hook in the back. Toal showcased a balanced, repeatable delivery with above average command of his three pitches. The curveball at 70-73 showed 11/5 rotation with average depth. Toal's changeup is a very effective pitch sitting 74-77 at fastball arm speed with arm-side run and sink. Toal is a definite follow in this class with the potential for significant velocity gains moving forward.

Athletic 6-foot-2, 195-pound two-way prospect. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a knee-to-knee stride to initiate his swing. Stays behind the baseball well and displayed the ability to create some backspin with a bat exit velocity of 75 mph. Showcased active feet defensively while routinely playing through the baseball. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash and registered accurate 82 mph arm strength across the diamond. The primary pitcher topped at 85 mph during his bullpen session.

8/19/18

6-foot-2, 195-pound primary pitcher did not get a chance to take the mound due to the final game of the tournament being cancelled because of rain. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 with two walks and an RBI in game action. Toal showed athletic actions defensively and the ability to handle chores at both corner infield positions.
